OUR HISTORY
M & J Sales was started in 1980 by Martha Jump and Jo Wiant and was the first estate sale business in Bloomington-Normal. Sandy Mier later joined Martha and Jo as a partner.
In 2000, the company was sold to Becky Altic, who worked for M & J and had developed a passion for the business.
In 2008, Becky sold the company to her friend, Suzie Zeigler, who had partnered with Becky for a time during her tenure as owner.
With each owner, M & J has grown, and each has added their own special touches. The policies and practices that have earned M & J the reputation it has for honesty, fairness, and sensitivity are still in place.
